I like your block Diana, are you using the same color scheme each month?

Am doing civil war fabrics that I had been savingandneeded to use...it is hard for me to stay this sedate color wise..I am liking it though

WOW, all of the new blocks posted are wonderful. Everyone is doing a terrific job making their blocks. I hope those who are still working on their's, will remember to share pictures with all of us here on the Quilting Board!! Good Job.

I got it done! It always amazes me how many pieces there are to a block! I haven't been quilting that long but took a class because I loved the way the quilt looked -- found out later there were over a 100 1.5" pieces, and that didn't include the rest of it! ;)

This one turned out the right size! 12.5" It's not real square but that will go away when I join it to something I hope.[ATTACH=CONFIG]415280[/ATTACH]

waiting for JUNE

All the blocks are beautiful, I'm still behind with getting my block done for May. I traveled back to Indiana to bring back all five trunks of my fabric collections. :) My two week trip ended up being four weeks. However I do have Junes' block all ready to post on the 1st. :)

Connie, I love your colors! Your blocks look great

I am struggling with this block. Everything was going fine til I started setting the sections together. My corner section comes out a good 1/2' larger tha the triangle that connects to corner and center block. I have taken it apart and resewed it with the narrowest seam possible....it was still not matching corners with corner section. I rechecked to make sure the pieces were cut right . Haven't been able to figure out what I am missing. Thanks for any help.

Sewmerry, I don't know why you're having problems. Did you check the measurements and did you check the printer settings? Some did have troubles with printing the pattern in the right size.

Cajun's May Block
 

I have FINALLY finished this block. I don't know why it took me so long except the shoulder thing but I had a mental block about THIS block! lol Had to make myself finish it!

So here it is in all it's glory! And I am sewing again!

CajunBear, Hope you're shoulder is feeling better. You're block came out great.

Thanks Anael and Joyce feels good to be in sewing room again. Had Epidural for my shoulder and neck problems and feel ever so much better. Boy that pinched nerve thing will get you good! I pray it lasts a very long time it was not a fun thing to do!

i went back to check everyone's blocks out and there is such diversity in fabrics and colors. Just beautiful.
