I proudly present you my latest quilt top: Sylvia, the Farmer's Bride :)
I started a second Sylvia but didn't want to finish it. I also started a FW quilt but I'm not too fond of the blocks. So I decided to make one quilt with the Sylvia and FW blocks. There were just enough blocks to make this quilt. Here it is. It still needs to be quilted though!

Oooohhh Anael such a pretty quilt and that border fabric is awesome, brings all the colours together. Now to quilt it and you will have another ufo finished. haha

Question about K5. Has anyone drawn it up in EQ for paper piecing? I make up kits for the blocks and I passed over it till I could check with the board. Overwhelmed by all those tiny pieces.

Here you are sue z q. You have to print it twice in order to get all the pieces you need.

I had said that I would like to finish my Sylvia by Christmas, this year has been really hectic for me so wanted to have at least one finish. For the past 2 weeks I have worked on this every day and today sewed the final border on.

I chickened out of the last 2 applique blocks so found a substitute for them in my Farmers Wife book.

I will quilt this in the New Year at my LQS on her longarm.

Anael I will do an all over design, it would take me too long to custom quilt it and I don't think my shoulder is up to it. Lost of aches tonight after lifting and moving the monster through the machine today.

Mirabelle, your SBS quilt is gorgeous! and maybe there is hope for me! I am hoping to get back on mine after the New Year, but am I really that far behind? Anael, have you assigned ALL of the blocks?

Mirabelle, Your quilt is stunning. Your background fabric was an excellent choice. It is a spectacular quilt. You did a great job.

I thought I noticed something not quite right but didn't know what it was. So I looked at the Shooting Star and it seems you turned around the left bottom piece. Mine looks like this:

I just realized your top is finished ..........

Nooooo I did it w.r.o.n.g. maybe I will unpick and fix it and maybe I won't, mine can be a little different right haha. I think towards the end of 140 blocks I was just cutting and sewing and not paying much attention.

Hey all. Beautiful new blocks being posted. I started in on Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt, while trying to finish up Son #4's music quilt for Xmas. Definitely wanting to get back to these blocks but I think it will have to wait til after Xmas. I picked up Mom from Iowa & drove her out for Thanksgiving and it's nice having her here, but I don't get to spend near the time I was getting used to in my studio...
