Roma, Great colors..nice fabric choices... You might want to just replace the corner triangles... I did a lot of ripping this am and cut 6 in blocks and the triangles worked great - easy to square up to 12-1/2"

Smile QB Block-of-the-Month, April 2013- Double Aster Photos

Good Morning, after ripping the borders and wrong corners, and replacing the correct corners this is the result.. I did look a point or two, but overall I learned a lot with this month's block

Nice blocks. Roma, I agree with Judy if you are not happy, it just looks like if you replace the final corner triangles it will be perfect. Mine seamed a wee bit small I should have cut the squares larger I still might. Love every ones fabric choices.

Very nice work Roma & Judy. Your blocks look perfect & you have both done such a great job choosing fabric's & color's that go together so well. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us today, as you know how much we love Show & Tell!!

Thank you to our hostess & QB members for teaching me how to build blocks for a future quilt so that I will have time right now to finish other quilts in various stages of progress.
Peace,

Default April's Aster

I finished my block the other day, took my pictures, then forgot to post them. So here is my April block along with the first three months. This was a challenge. not the y seam, but all those different triangle sizes. I admit, I had to start it over. The first block was way off. Didn't even finish it. But this block did turn out 12 1/2". Ready for next months. Katie

I finished my block today. I had to make a few adjustments, but other than the outside border it came out pretty well. Thanks to everyone for the information that helped me put it together. I even did the y seam the first time. I see a little bulge, but hey you guys keep saying others won't see it anyway. (Except quilters, of course).
