I think i will have to consider this a "prototype". LOL
I so rarely use satin or decorative stitches, my need to practice is waaaaaaaaaaaaay obvious.
Sewing over lumps with deco stitches turned out to be more difficult than i expected.

As with doing anything new, I will take the lessons learned from this one and try again.
Given all the lessons, i suspect it will be again and again and at least one more again. LOL LOL LOL

I guess i'll finish the intended mug rug ... but i sure won't give it to anybody i like. LOL LOL LOL

Patrice, I really like what you did with it with the yellow background. It looks great.

Oh wow, another month of having to bring my A Game. You guys are definitely keeping with the theme-- this looks like a challenge, but so fun!

I think I'll use different reds and whites.. oooh so excited!

Here is my February block! Almost forgot how to do these, oh well, it is what it is and I am not changing it! I am using the background fabric in all, I hope, blocks for this year. I have another to use if I run out. Added ric rac around it to go for a crazy heart look.

Kathy, my goodness you are quick! It was just posted this morning, and you have yours done already! I have it printed out but haven't selected my fabrics yet, because I was gone most of the day.

    Happy sewing, all!
