I just noticed I sewed one corner in the wrong direction. OOPs. I should have known I wasn't done yet! It's funny, I knew something was "off" but couldn't tell what. I spent so much time on this block and now it's coming back out of the cupboard, lol!

Still out camping so won't be making mine for awhile yet, looking forward to some more pictures, thanks for posting them.

lol, me either, but now it will drive me nuts till I fix it! I noticed I should have had the corner colors going in an x across the block too, but that's way too much fixin'

Have mine done and keep forgetting to post the pic. Not sure I like this color placement but won't be hard to make another if I need to. Now on hurry and wait for 3 weeks...long time for a new block...patience is golden, certainly not one of my greatest assets

    Very pretty Jaba!

Your blocks are the way mine were supposed to be. I thought I would have an easy fix turning the block yesterday but now the whole section doesn't fit. The fabric is so worn from me ripping and sewing that I will have to make 1/3rd (at least) of the entire block over today. I may just start completely over.

Judy in PHX I just saw your block, I love the different effect, looks like tulips!

I managed to fix mine, I didn't even cut the blocks over, just ripped and sewed a few times until stuff matched up. lol.

Thanks all, I do love the colors that this quilt will be. I didn't have any trouble with this block but I did sew a "scant" 1/4" to start with and it came out perfect. I could hardly believe my luck right the 1st time. Have to admit, it was nice, no ripped seams for a change. If I could just make that happen every time, I can only wish.
