Well, my DH will be home this afternoon, I have enjoyed the quiet time. I did the Aunt Dinah this morning, left side middle.
Here are all the completed ones so far. Either Double Aster or Goose Creek next. The blocks are going to be divided into 2 or 3 lap quilts for our VA hospital. Now on to house work.

You're doing great. I have to take some down time to catch up. Between having back surgery and trying to get rest so I can hopefully go back to work in April it's been tough trying to find time to do much of anything.

    Rose,

I think most of us believe family comes first, specially sick grand-kids. We must enjoy our time with the little ones when we have it because it might not come again. You are doing a great job with encouragement and picking the blocks that will challenge us and help us grow. I have changed my next block the Chinese puzzle first! Then the Double Aster, I just love sharp angles and paths.

Loving everyone's blocks so far! I'm almost afraid to try the centifours pattern this week as I am still working on my points lining up correctly. Here are a few of my blocks. I have carefully edited them to only show the 'good' ones.

You're doing great!!! Part of this was to be able to challenge ourselves to get out of the same old rut, try new things. Nothing will be perfect the first time we try it, it might not be perfect the tenth time we try it, but the fact remains that at least we are trying.

Now I need to go get myself some coffee...

Ladies, as soon as I have my afternoon coffee I will be posting all the blocks that we have done and let everyone know what we will be doing over the month of March. We are coming close to an end and almost have our sampler quilt finished. Hope everyone is getting excited, might even have something exciting to announce shortly...

Well I see we have been quite busy for those playing along and I think that is absolutely wonderful. I really am happy to see that people are enjoying themselves. You have all been great with helping each other out and being understanding that this probably isn't the most organized Quilt Along you have all been apart of...LOL This was the first time I was trying to do this and I have learned a bit along the way to make another one much easier and much more organized.

Anyway, on to what I wanted to get together this weekend. Below you will find all of the blocks we have done so far for those who may be just starting or who wandered along the way..

I am going to list all the Easy blocks by week first, than all the challenging blocks by week, after that will be anything we added along the way.

    Easy Blocks:
    Week 1 - http://www.quilterscache.com/F/FancyStripesBlock.html
    Week 2 - http://www.quilterscache.com/B/BrokenWheelBlock.html
    Week 3 - http://www.quilterscache.com/B/BalkanPuzzleBlock.html
Week 4 - This week was a catch up week.
    Week 5 - http://www.quilterscache.com/G/GooseCreekBlock.html
    Week 6 - http://www.quilterscache.com/C/ChainandBarBlock.html
    Week 7 - http://www.quilterscache.com/W/WoodboxBlock.html
Week 8 - This week was a catch up week.
    Week 9 - http://www.quilterscache.com/A/AuntDinahBlock.html
    Week 10 - http://www.quilterscache.com/C/ChinesePuzzleBlock.html

    Challenge Blocks:
    Week 1 - http://www.quilterscache.com/A/Arkan...oadsBlock.html
    Week 2 - http://www.quilterscache.com/A/Axe&ChurnBlock.html
    Week 3 - http://www.quilterscache.com/I/Inter...zzleBlock.html
Week 4 - This week was a catch up week.
    Week 5 - http://www.quilterscache.com/D/DoubleAsterBlock.html
    Week 6 - http://www.quilterscache.com/F/Flyin...atchBlock.html
    Week 7 - http://www.quilterscache.com/V/VOS_C...StarBlock.html
Week 8 - This week was a catch up week.
    Week 9 - http://www.quilterscache.com/T/TheHo...uiltBlock.html
    Week 10 - http://www.quilterscache.com/C/CentifoursBlock.html

    Extra Blocks:
    Week 4 - Paper Pieced - http://www.quilterscache.com/A/ATripleStarBlock.html
    Week 4 - Crazy - http://www.quilterscache.com/B/BridalPathBlock.html

So as you can see we have 8 blocks in each of the categories and 2 extra blocks posted just for fun. Since we need 12 blocks all together to create a 60x60 lap quilt we will not have any more breaks for the quilt along. Over the next 4 weeks we will post the last four blocks that will finish out the sampler quilt top. I will also post some extra blocks each week for those that have not done all the blocks in either category so that they have some choices to finish out the quilt top. Some of those extra blocks will be challenging, but for good reason. Another quilt along will begin in September that will be using the skills that you have used here as well as adding on a few more skills. The September Quilt Along isn't going to be a sampler, it's going to be a designed quilt top by myself and Carolyn MT. All the details will be posted by the end of June such as approximate amount of fabric needed, the skills we will be working on, and the size of the quilt. The actual designed quilt top though will not be shown until September when we start.

See everyone later and hope you're still enjoying the quilt along and looking forward to the future project..
