Got this weeks cut out but not sewn yet. Hopefully in the next day or two. Had to get FQ's and SP boxes ready to ship out of here. This will be great, I'll have time to put this one all together and quilted before the next one starts.....well that is the plan anyway, hopefully it can get done.

I am working on a quick quilt top that I will finish up tomorrow when I get up. Than off to make my car payment so I can come home and work on some of the quilt along blocks. I would like to get caught up with them by the end of the week, so as long as I do a couple a day I should be ok. Once I am done with the 2-3 I am doing tomorrow I will continue to hand quilt my disappearing 9 patch. Getting frustrated to only be able to sit with it at most an hour a day which is broken up through out the day.

Oh my gosh! I just realized I am TWO weeks behind! I have been out of town the last 2 weekends and have a lot of catching up to do! I am having all 3 of my grandkids over this weekend plus 1/2 day chorus practice on Saturday. I think I will need 2 catch up weeks! Here are my most recent squares.

From looking at all the posts, I have a suggestion. Some of you are not setting the seam and pressing as you go along. It will make a big difference. Put a towel next to your machine so you don't have to keep jumping up to use the iron.
You can easily make yourself a little pressing station. many ideas online.

    Hi
I enjoy watching everyone block and looking at all the different colour combination, I have completed 4 more blocks but still playing catch up.
I have just notice that in the first one I will have to play the unpicking game again and fix it up so, back to the machine it gose. Now back to the cutting table,to cut the next lot of 4 blocks out, but first I have to get my Grandsons quilt done before he out grows his cot. It is amazing the how different the same colour combination looks if you just change the back ground colour. I am using up left over fabric that I use in a quilt I made last year but change the background colour from white to the yellow and black. Still have to make up my mine what colour slaching and boarders to do.

Everyone is doing a great job. And if its a new thing for you this is a terrific starting point. If you need help or questions on what your doing or how to do it better/easier just ASK. There are so many quilters here happy to offer advice or tips. I picked up some amazing tips over the last year. And each time I work on a project I do learn something else. Like cutting tips. and putting the painters tape on the quarter inch line in front of the machine so you can sew a perfect seam all the time (or most of the time ok ok or part of the time but with free advice I suggest lol you take it!

I am only 9 blocks into my quilt so far behind but I will catch up and even if this is finished post my quilt top. I am pretty good at getting it all together and since its for Me and its Christmas I want this one done. Wyldwytch thanks so much for hosting this its been so fun to work on and so fun to watch come together.
