I'll play by whatever rules you come up with.

Here's one way to pick who does the next block...

Whoever posts the current block first gets to pick the next months block. How's that for motivation?

Marcella and I alternate, but then there's only the two of us. And we're sisters and our mother told us to share and play nice :!: Of course if Marcella picks a block I don't like I tell her to pick something different! I am the eldest and being elder has some advantages, as well it should!

You could take turns by age but then we'd all have to fess up to being older than we think! I'm not telling anyone I'm over 60 now! Ooops!!!

The best bet is to keep it simple.

I like the idea of doing the same block as others so we can discuss the techniques we discover. I'm sure some of us have shortcuts we could share with the newer quilters. And I know we can all learn from one another! :D :D :D

Are we using traditional blocks? Pieced blocks? Applique? Anything goes?Misty, you've started this. You should pick a block soon. We're thinking this through way too much!

"Here's one for "starters". I'd want to trade FQs for templates and detailed instructions, but the basic layout of the blocks and suggested tops can be used as guides for making whatever size you prefer. "

When you open your design business Patrice, will you let me work for you???????? You are so talented. I love that pattern!!!

Hey, everyone, I want in on the block thing, but give me until after the 19th to get it together after the wedding. If I live....

Why work "for" me? Work with me. :-)
For that matter, if you're good enough to get hired, you're good enough to have your own design business. I've seen your work. I'll bet you could.

I think I am going to make a twisted Jack while I am waiting to Misty to post. Hurry up, Darlin. I think we are not good at patience. This is such a great idea. I don't want to have to decide which one to make next. That is why I like BOM quilts.
