    Silly o'l Boo Bear.
You're in. But guess what? We won't say a word if you can't make a block this month. or next. or next .... Make March in June if you like.

You have two whole years to "catch up" before we start buggin' ya to take your turn inflicting a block on us. By the we'll all be so darned talented, you're going to have one heckuva time finding something to challenge us.

We have very few rules. The most important is RELAX and HAVE FUN WITH IT.

I opt for the last. that is a real challange. see you soon QN/daphne

we decided all that weeks ago. each person on the list takes a turn - in the order they signed up - picking that month's block. i'm next, then Country Quilter, etc. there are no restrictions on block type. ideally, the blocks will encourage beginners to develop new skills without scaring them half to death. intermediate and advanced quilters are welcome to "show off" and provide encouraging demonstration of ways to jazz up the blocks as long as it's done in a way that makes others feel good, not inferior.

either provide a link to internet directions or upload the pattern and instructions. if you upload, be very, very sure you are not violating any copyright restrictions. unless you know beyond the shadow of a doubt you have the designer's permission, limit uploads to your own designs or instructions for public domain blocks. (personally, i think it's unfair and misleading for designers to post supposedly "free" designs, then attach a list of restrictions but that seems to be fairly standard procedure. so be careful.)

make the blocks you want to make; skip the ones you don't. if you don't feel good enough about your results to post them with the others, you don't have to. we are here to encourage, nurture and cheer each other upward and onward. we are not here to embarrass anybody or force her to embarrass herself. (before you decide to not post, however, keep in mind that nothing you make EVER looks as bad as you think it does. you deserve your share of the spotlight.)

the only other rule is to HAVE FUN!!!

welcome to the BOMering Beauties Brigade (and before he starts whining, somebody remind Tim that guys can be beautiful, too, in their own special way.)
