When I first put my name on I was 31 and then I came to another list where 31 was P>J> and my name wasn't on the list at all. So I browsed to the last section of this topic and found the last list and put my name on again. That is probably a good Idea for future BOM's to have a separate topic page for comments. I too am slowly learning the computer operating techniques and get a bit frustrated with my own inabilities. But I have learned to save patterns, for the most part I think I have enough free patterns from the Internet to keep me busy for a while!

    Patrice,
I need help. I am trying to do this BOM and I am confused by the instructions. on the long strip for the sides why do I need a 7-1/4" square? It doesn't fit the 3-7/8 x 7-3/4 strip. Help if you can explain what I am supposed to do here?

Wow, Underneath that humor is one sharp quilter. Yes, I had rather use templates. I began to notice that some quilters made a series of diagonal squares and stiched them together in the pattern of blazing arrows and that's when I knew we weren't following the instructions. Where I messed up was when I cut the first block. It was the center and should have been around 3 or more inches but given the instructions it came out smaller each time I made it. Will try your block it looks fabulous. Thanks a million.

We have very few rules. The most important is RELAX and HAVE FUN WITH IT.

Please note that the block and the month is listed right by/under the person's name that chose it.

Perhaps this list needs a seperate heading so it doesn't keep getting buried here with all our wonderful words of wisdom.

My apologies. I forgot to add the instructions in the .pdf that tell you what to do if it prints without the seam allowances. that never used to happen, and i don't know what's causing it now, so i haven't gotten into the habit yet of including that information in my files. look for an "advanced" print options button. put a checkmark next to "print as image".

just to be clear, i'm still making the blocks, i just am not choosing one for others to make. i have enough conflict in my life without bringing in pettyness. trust me i would try to change something and if that is not allowed i'll just stay in the shadows.
it was fun while it lasted

Hang in there a little longer Kathy. I think once the dust settles and everyone has had time to reconsider all will be well. (I sound like "Little Miss Sunshine" don't I?) Well, someone has to keep us positive!

Smile everyone. It'll make for a much brighter day!
