Katybob when you quilt if finished I think you will not even notice the brown tree trunks, great job... I have only been able to make one tree block this week... The angle on the tree to the square corner gave me a bit of a problem.. Next week I am sure I will figure it out. ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

I started my bitty trees. To those of you that do paper piecing I applaud you. I had a time getting those triangles right. It is truly fall here. I will have summer trees, flowering spring trees, and colorful autumn trees. I may even have to throw in some climbing trees with kids in them. Here is what I have so far.

I'm about halfway finished with my stars and then on to the trees! Woohoo...I'm getting caught up. I'm slow with the stars 'cause I am keeping the tiny corners that you cut off...making hst's. So tiny will finish at 1/2 inch. Crazy, huh? I hate throwing scraps away and figure I can use them in mug rugs that I'll make for Christmas gifts.

Cute, cute, CJ! I thought your idea of children in one of the trees was such a good one that I searched my stash for something like that, but the children or animals on the fabric I have are all too big.
