I need your opinions please. I am putting my rows together but have not made my geese yet. All my blocks are from the same 25 - 30 fabrics. I bought some more saturated 30's fabrics. Do you think I should use the original fabrics or the newer pieces for the geese? I may run a string of them around for a border too

Hi, CJ -- I had originally planned to use the same 30's fabric I used in the blocks, but I think that might be too busy. I'm thinking that maybe I'll use coordinating solids.

Katybob solids sounds like a good plan. I am trying not to buy new for this project. Of course it is not working😛 This where I thought the slightly deeper colors would give the effect similar to the solids you are using. I decided to add 3 more rows of blocks to make it more bed size.

Hi all bitty blockers. I have got all my geese done and ready to put my rows together. Has anyone else got yours done yet? This post has been rather quiet for a while.

Talk about a coincidence! I haven't worked on the bitty blocks for ages, and decided to get back to it so I could have it ready to sew together at a retreat next month and just finished the geese. I just sat down at my computer to go to the website to see what size to cut the sashing and borders and here was your message in my email!

I am planning on finishing my blocks this next week. Have been waiting to see someone's finished quilt.

My rows are looking good sewn together. I went back to the web site and saw they used a colored sashing. I had considered it but went with the white I already had. A solid color would look awesome but it's too late to change now. Still debating a border for my quilt. I can't wait to see what you all do with yours

I've been working on old UFO'S lately, but was thinking about my flying geese a few days ago. I still haven't decided what to use for the geese and borders.

I just got my sashing fabric. I decided on a pink with multi-colored polka dots. Don't know about the border yet. I'm planning on working on it when I go on a retreat in early April, so I think you'll finish before me, CJ.
