    My Rosie came yesterday in the mail. I am thinking of tackling the 4" PP blocks, but am leaving my options open in case I get stuck in the weeds. I've also signed up for the Civil War swap and think I'll make these blocks in those prints as well so I can mix and match blocks perhaps, although making 4" blocks would require they be cornerstones perhaps amongst the larger blocks...whereas I can just add simple borders to 10" blocks...hmmm...well, at least I've ordered my fabrics! Got that part decided anyhoo...

    Ronda, Civil war will look really good with these patterns and using 4" for corner stones would really enhance the bigger blocks. Have fun!

    Hi I wrote before about how much material I need for this project,, I have order my book but unfortuntely it wont be here in Australia till the end of August and I need to order my material before that. So if anyone can help and let me know how much I need for the 10" blocks it would help a lot.

    I am watching this one. Going to look for the book at LQS's this weekend before I commit and order it online. It just might be the kick in the pants I need to get my sewing back in operation.

    Yippee my book arrived today. I'm away for a week's holidays and there is a quilt shop in one of the places we're going to so I might just manage to buy some new fabric for this.

    I thought I might do both the large & small blocks, but realized I have too many other things going on, so I'm doing the large blocks in red, white, blue fabrics. I bought the fabric the other day and really like it. Will also use some of the fabrics from my stash too. I can hardly wait to get started...

    I just ordered the book. I think this will be more fun than a swap. If I don't like the block I have no one to blame but myself. This is more in my line. Thanks for starting this.
