Here is a picture of my first 4" Rosie Block... It's a bit wonky. We ended up having a very busy Labor Day weekend here at my house. Was unable to get any sewing done. I have printed out the ten inch pattern and hopefully will be sewing together the 10" block of the Mother's Star this week. Yes I am oohing and ahhing over your paper piecing skills on all the blocks. Hopefully my skills with my points will improve as we go along.

Beautiful Jenniky! You could always say it's the way the picture is taken, not the block

Maggie worries when I start a new project. She was very unhappy with the way Mona's Choice turned out yesterday. She was not alone. I will be redoing it today.

Everyone's did a great job on our 1st block - Mother's Favorite Star! Love the variety in colors & the fabric selections are wonderful.

Ronda, your points are perfect as always!

Purl - poor Maggie, I thinks she needs a treat to perk her up! Such a sad face.

jenniky, I love the fabrics you used-they give a lot of movement to such a small block.

    I'm doing 2 blocks-this is my fabric

This is the fabric that my one true love (he gave me the book) chose.

We only get to see each other once a month-so this quilt will be "ours". He agreed to pick fabrics for his blocks-quite fun to see him trying to make decisions in a fabric store.

All of the blocks have been lovely-I wish I could choose colors so well.
