Such beautiful blocks!! Kris-I love how yours turned out!!! And the Mona's choice with the different fabrics really stood out for me.

I remain in absolute awe of those of you who are doing the 4 inch blocks-I have no idea how you have the patience to do that. I have enough trouble with the larger ones..........

I've got one of the Colorado block done, have to do the other one fairly soon.

Have a lovely day-it is starting to be sweater weather here.

Just caught up on all the pics-you ladies are doing such a great job. I love all your blocks and the colors you've chosen; each one is the same but looks completely different. What fun to look at them all.
Here are my week #2. I do not like the Christmas block--the word that comes to mind is "frenzied".

I love, love, love the purple JanRN! Your Christmas block is also very pretty...I would call it festive rather than frenzied?

Jan, I am very glad you couldn't decide between Christmas and batik! Both of your blocks are lovely. I think you are too close to your Christmas block when you think frenzied . . . . I think it will help your quilt to "pop"!

Jan, I happen to like your "frenzied" block....you should think of it as "festive"... If you really don't like it..put it in the box you have in the closet with the rest of your dislikes and when it gets full you can send it to me !!!! The purple is gorgeous...

Thank you all for your nice words. I think I'm going to keep going making the blocks in both colorways-these blocks are fun to do (so far).
Anne, the Box That Shall Never Be Opened is full but would need a semi truck to haul it away. I make lots of uglies LOL but can't just throw them out.
