Here's my Anna's Choice. The block is straight but it doesn't look straight in the picture.

Very pretty, Anael--I love that green fabric you used.

Carriem, great fabric choices. I agree that batiks don't work real well with these blocks but I'm still plugging away with them. Can't wait to see your blocks.

I'm playing with my new machine but all I can say is that I'm going to need a lot of practice before I attempt to quilt any important items LOL.

    Default week 1

Here's my "Mother's Favorite Star" block...new and improved.

I had a very productive day in "the clubhouse". I got this block finished, but also have the background fabric for all the blocks cut and the other fabric for the next 3 blocks cut too. I needed to do the background because there wasn't much left on the bolt and if I decided to get more I needed to call the shop and have them hold it for me...I have plenty...yay!

I should be able to sew blocks 2, 3, and 4 tomorrow and then will work on finishing cutting the rest of the fabrics.

Anael, I do like your Anna's Choice! And, Carrie, yours is lovely, too! Both are such striking greens.

Lovely block carriem and beautiful background! I'm learning not to use WOW only as background.

    Default week 2, 3, and 4

Well I got the other 3 blocks caught up on today. Went together with no problems...

I think the red w/yellow flowers looks out of place now but plan to use it in a few other blocks so that it "fits".
