I have been working on catching up on this. I actually finished this month's block! I"m making these as a sampler quilt for my four year old daughter and she is a great at motivating! I decided that I wanted her quilt a bit longer than what the 12 blocks would make it so she helped me pick out 3 more to add to the top, hence the pinwheel. Here are the 4 blocks I have done so far.

Not sure what month this one is. The colors are a bit brighter than they look here

Here is my monkey wrench. It really is quite vibrant

Here are the four completed blocks so far. I have all the pieces for all the blocks cut out and I just need to assemble now. But wow! It takes me about and hour and a half to assemble each block! I'm kinda slow!

Thank you. Of course the hour and half doesn't count the amount of time when I have to take half the stupid thing apart because I did it wrong and then put it back together the right way!

I think the best part is how excited my dd is every time I finish a block. She has to bring it upstairs and show Daddy. She loves to sit and play with my scrap bin while I work on her quilt!

Thanks Ducky. I'm really happy with how they are turning out! Amazing how accurate cutting makes for accurate blocks!

Love your blocks & your little daughter will do also. You can put wide sashing inbetween the blocks so the quilt will grow that way instead of making extra blocks.
BTW I love the colours you've used I forgot to mention that before LOL.

I like it a lot! I love the effect of the third colour in the 'Monkey Trail' block. Great job again. :D
