Patrice, you just blow me away!! How do you come up with such gorgeous quilts -- not to mention the outrageous names (which I love by the way)??? I love this quilt and especially the name! :D

the outrageous names come from a seriously twisted sense of humor.

i can take only a little credit for the quilt layouts. i just wait to see what the two blocks are for each month and then play with them a little.

but you're welcome to keep thinkin' i'm a genius. it may not be true, but i don't mind if you think so.

Better late than never.. :D And it was worth waiting for - I love the extra element of movement that the checks give. Great job! :D

thanks very much for the compliments. :P

i have the luxury of being able to work on my quilts pretty much whenever i please, outside of the hours i have to be at the office. my son is a self-sufficient adult, so only the dog gets to impose on me.

i've taught myself to cut stacks of patches at a time, to strip piece and to chain piece. those three things really speed up the process. still ... it's only the tops that get done within a week or so. when i finally get around to quilting the stack ... OY Vey!!! they're gonna take forever!
