    The inner design when the blocks are pieced together is spectacular. This is one block that works, without a doubt, better excluding any sashing, and I am in awe of anyone who can make that many blocks of this one. With 53 pieces per block stop to think how many bits it would take to make up even a double. Yikes! :!:

    Hi Country Quilter: Yes, I always check out the finished blocks when I'm perusing quilterscache. Like you, I LOVE Lisa's Blackford's Beauty. What an eye for color she has. It's so rich looking. I really love it.

    I love the pictures of the blocks you all did with this BOM selection. I had never heard of it before. I ran across this example of Blackford's Beauty done in two colors and set on point.
