Sulabug I really like your block!! That pink fabric added to the Zinnia really makes that look like it is spinning!! Really cool look!

Great block Sula! Love your fabric. Bless your mother! Love her fabric too. (How old is she?)

Mine is done, but haven't taken a pix yet - will post tomorrow.

Sula, Both are great blocks. How rewarding to be able to have your mother join you.

    Beachlady,
Thank you for the nice comments on both my Mother's block & mine. My Mother is 86 & she sews all of her blocks together by hand. I am so proud of her & feel so very lucky to still have her with me!!

Yes, I feel so happy that my Mother & I can still be together. We always sew together every Wednesday. I look forward to each & every week with great anticipation!!

Sula, your block is just wonderful! It's pieced just perfectly! Bravo!!!!!!

Your mother's block is beautiful, too! Really, had I paid attention and known she was joining along, I wouldn't have chosen a paper pieced block.

    Ducky,
It's okay that you chose a paper pieced pattern. My Mother joined along in January & she will make the ones that she can, but when she can't, she loves to pick out her own pattern & still participate. Thank you for your kind comment on my block!! I am very happy with it, too!!

Sue, that is FABULOUS!!!! It's really very exciting to me to see all the different creations that come out of one simple pattern.
