QNS--you are correct...we will do blocks 2 blocks a month starting with the "April" block on the Quilting on the Square website.
We will have to wait until Honchey returns from her sister's to make sure, but I am thinking we will do block #1 and #2 for Sept, #3 and #4 for Oct, #5 and #6 for Nov...take December off...then start in Jan with #7 and #8, etc, etc.

Belfrybat--since none of us has made all the blocks yet, we aren't exactly sure on the fabric requirements...I got 2 yards of my background and around 12 FQs (most from my stash). Some are getting a yard of different fabrics, not sure how many fabrics in all though (Jeanie, what did you decide?).

Belfrybat - the amount of yardage is not listed on the patterns. The blocks are really big - 12 blocks 16" x 14", and I want to use the same fabrics throughout the quilt. I have been eyeing some 1 yard pieces I had in my stash, and I picked up a few more online. I'll post my fabrics before too long, just have not gathered them all together yet. I am also getting 2 yards for the white on white background.
I hope you'll join us!

BelfryBat ... ditto to what the others have said, as QOTS have not posted any yardage requirements. It's very scrappy friendly, though you do need a good amount for the backgrounds. Of course, they could be scrappy too. Hope this means you are going to join in with us. Please do say YES!

Oh I haven't been on the board for a while and so glad I checked this today! I am IN! I need another project like I need a hit on the head lol, but these Are beautiful blocks and I love PP..can't pass it up haha. Thanks Honchey for starting and leading this.
I see some beautiful fabrics being selected..I think I am going to go scrappy with a contsant background.Hey, maybe a black background with my bright scraps..we shall see. Although I don't think I'll get started until late September as there is sew much going on the next two months.
Lookimg forward to this!
