Will do. I'm going to wait for either a confirmation of my findings from Quilting On the Square or for me to actually piece the portion I found the alleged error. I want to be certain.

Nice, and old fashioned (looks like 30s) fabrics; should be outstanding quilt, Honchey!

Some great eye candy today! It'll be fun to see how each of the Spikes take on a different personality according to the fabrics used.

DHMommy ... AS if I had to twist YOUR arm!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO like you ... IF I were to do the placemats, for sure they'd be all different. MIght as well do all the blocks ... and have spare placemats! Love your colours/fabrics. Perhaps the fabrics you are eliminating could be the backing fabrics?

Honchey- I love both sets they are both equally beautiful!!!!

I keep contemplating colors or maybe a theme ( Christmas, Batiks, Civil War, Floral) . Love seeing everyones choices

DHM--I too saw the mistake in the Log Cabin block when measuring pieces...I figured to mention it in October, but probably good to let people know now in case they work ahead.

    Oh my poor aching arm!!!

And yes, I considered that this evening. I can always have a few spares when we have spaghetti for dinner and two have to go into the wash!!

Brilliant ... yes that large brown/gold plaid would make a fantastic backing AND binding!!

Or you could flip the pretty side down ... and let the food stains blend into the plaid background.

And for the extra blocks ....... you could complete the ensemble with spaghetti bibs!!!
