JillNJo ... me-thinks we have OKSGlad hooked as a Spiker and not a lurker. Agree?

Now what gave you that impression? Are you reading between the lines?

Ok, the fabric does look kinda gray. Everything in the pictures looks some different from the true colors. I am just going to start off on the first block and then add new fabrics as I go. I plan to use lots of the soft batiks and may need to pick up some more prints at the store to round it out well.

QuiltE=methinks she is quite possibly hooked!

Oh dear QuiltE - I just have 45! Thought I was keeping your list up to date, darn!

Fabric is looking good JillNJo! What fun to get started!

DogHouseMom - thanks for the correction on the Design #3! I've corrected my copies - no sense in reprinting them.

I have some large pieces of red/red&white print, gray, black/black&white print, and a variety of yellows. I've really been liking the black, white, & red that GrannyQ and JanR are getting in their MB and I think I can get enough variety so that there is enough contrast in each block. It will be a challenge but I would really like to use up this fabric if I can and I think I can make it work. May need a couple of FQs to get some shades of gray. I've another couple of weeks to make a decision. A couple of finishes before I start this!

My PP sew group is going to do this among ourselves also. Looks like lots of fun.

Great fabric choices everyone. Ggal, I made the first block and I noticed (and this is just my very humble opinion) that large prints didn't work very well. I'm determined to use only fabrics from my stash and had some very pretty combinations with large prints. By the time you cut the small pieces in the blocks, you've lost the print. I think I'll save the large ones for the setting triangles. Fussy cutting may have worked. Again, just my input for what it's worth!
