    Thank you Mirabelle.

Anael, what a great idea to use an extra print out for a template for the fabric. I had never thought of that.

Hey, I used my Embroidery Machine for the first time in two months; made a small butterfly. Will get the 'correct' guitar pattern put on it on Tuesday. Hurray!!! Now to figure out how to move a 175 pound sewing desk from Des Moines, Iowa, to our home. It's still in its crate. Six foot long. Known factor: bf and I cannot move it...dh is not able to handle something that big, neither is bf's dh. Of course, the Horn company would have moved it in to our home and set it up for a mere $250. I think I messed up, that might have been a bargain after all. Sigh. I did not have an extra $250.

Congrats on using your embroidery machine!
Can't you unpack the crate, take the table and leave the crate?

Found out the measurements and its doable in my van...it will haul the 23 1/2 by 32 1/2 by 62 1/2. Just move it so it tips into the cargo area and push in it on cardboard. Whew!! QS had me worried for awhile. Everyone have a good weekend. \\

I use freezer paper for the templates. That way I can iron it on my fabric, & even FC it if I want.

Dublb - do you print onto the freezer paper?

Anael - do you cut out each template, then add an amount (say 1/2") around each one when you trace it onto the fabric?

Any advice anyone can give us to help with this paper piecing is so appreciated! Thanks dublb and Anael!!!

Well I finished the "Log Cabin Cones" block and I'm happy with it. I'll stick to the color scheme I'm using. I held it up for hubby and he actually gave a whoop and said it was one of the prettiest blocks I've made.

    Woo hoo!

I'll wait for the party to get started with the other blocks
