Headed out to go through my scraps. I have been collecting 5" charms, might go look through them.

I have been busy today, I dropped off some fresh bread in the club car. I made three loaves while cutting my squares and working on a kilt. Tomorrow I sew to get ready for Saturday.

Finally finished mystery 3 top and love how it came out. Was going to post a picture on the other thread but don't find way to post pictures from my phone. Now to get busy stitching my 9 patches together.

You guys have got to stop pouring coffee for Elisabrat. She seems a bit wired today.

Yes, carrot, we are a chatty bunch but we do have fun! So glad you are along for the ride. As to how many, last I couted we were 25 but don't know if all those stayed, and some new got onboard ... so, no, I don't know. Anyone taken a head count?
I am sure a few more did sneak on board. My DSIL is lurking without posting. I talked her into jumping aboard and she has already made her 9 patches and bought fabric for the rest.

MaryT you work with denim all the time, why don't you just whip some of those right out and send your 1st one to me. I'll inspire you and prod you all along the journey!! Geez I'll even send you a bunch of denim, now what more could you ask for? As for the sharpener, I didn't have this kind before. I bought 1 of those roller type ones, not good for nothin' as far as I was concerned. Last year I bought the electric one from Nancy's Notions and I love it. It does the smaller ones and the 45's like I have but not the 60's. Don't know if they have one to do the big blades or not. It does do the job though, everytime I sharpen one, somehow I take a nick of my knuckle when I first start cutting with it. Sharp, you bet, I have lots of bandaids in my sewing room. I would definately buy it again.
Worked on a couple of table runners for my 2 SP swaps this month, Valentine's. Someway totally screwed up cutting it so made do and made my own pattern. Think they are going to turn out pretty cute. Hope I have enough left over to make one for myself. Just kind of "going with the flow" right now. I'll never be able to do it again with all of my slicing and dicing, they are truly "one of a kind" and never more. Will get those done so I'll be ready for the next step here.
If someone has some time on their hands, I'd love some help cutting for the next Boom 9 swap, any takers, I'll feed you good and make sure you don't go thirsty......SOS help SOS help

The other is controlled scrappy using just the shades of green and brown. Have always just sewn strips together and cut 6 1/2 by 6 1/2" squares, never done just blocks before so this mystery is a new thing for me.
Made Christmas easy on my DH a few years back, the Accuquilt was a black Friday sale at JoAnn's. Started with just a few of the basic dies when they were on sale ... don't use it all that often, but when I do it sure does make life simple.. love the 2 1/2" strip die!
