Sylvia Bridal Sampler BOW

Well I decided to just go for it and get it done! Obviously I'm not very good at working with templates as I'll end up with blunt points on this one too once I trim it to 6 ½".... ugh!

Beautiful Laurafet and Thimblebug! It's about time for a group shot!!
Thimblebug, once in the quilt you won't notice those blunt points. It's not that bad On another board once a lady said her points were so off they were in another quilt. I couldn't stop laughing

I think what I must be doing once I trace around the template on freezer paper, I'm trying to be careful not to shave off any of the paper and I must be leaving the pieces a smidgeon too big. In the night I decided I would remake them...but in the sane light of day.... I think I will leave them & see if they still bother me once I get all 140 blocks made at least once

Well it was 6 7/8" but it's trimmed down to 6 ½" now Okay here's a group shot, sorry for having them on the floor and the paper with their name attached.... my design wall is full of "other" projects.

This is what I "collected" for it on holiday in June, the blueberry fabric I chose first at Sewing With Class in Stony Plain, Alberta and then I found the green with a brown streak in it at Ziegler Fashions & the Quilt Rack in Vegreville, Alberta... I cropped a picture, sorry it's so small, but it gives you the idea...... I love my blueberries, eat them every morning!
