Changing a jpeg to a bitmap in EQ5 takes away alot of the proper colouring, maybe someone can give me some advice on this?

Thanks Thimblebug. The lay out is there but the colours are off. When I tried to copy blocks into EQ I had the same, blocks were there but colours were way off! It's a great way to keep track of the progress. I'm using an excel file for my blocks.

There are free converters online but can't you save the picture as bitmap right away?

I've tried scanning them and saving directly as a bitmap and the quality is even worse I have an old works program on this computer & haven't been able to figure out importing a picture to use in a spreadsheet. On my laptop.... I can see the function to insert the picture but it's huge & I haven't used that program to know how to get the photos to shrink to the size of the spreadsheet cell. How do you do it on yours, maybe mine might be similar? Also... can you post a picture here of what your spreadsheet looks like? Thanks.

I'm using a free resizing programm: http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/
When you have your spreadsheet and clicked on insert a picture, you have to choose from your computer which one. Once incerted you can make that picture fit into the spread sheet by 'taking' one corner and move it till it fits a cell. I use three cells down and one across for 1 picture. I have my first Sylvia spreadsheet as a pic

Oh WOW... that's really cool.... I need to see if I can figure this out, thanks so much, I hate the way the EQ skews the colours in bitmaps.

Anael, thank you I managed to make an excel spreadsheet on my laptop and insert the pictures, but this computer with microsoft works 2000 spreadsheet doesn't have an insert picture function that I can see. Oh well, time for a walk and then off for our New Years Day luncheon!

Thanks for the site and the how to, Anael. Will think about it and see if I can make it work...lovely blocks in both Sylvias. Great job there, Anael. Now if I can half as well, I will be happy.

You're welcome Thimblebug. I don't know MS works 2000 so I can't help you there.

QNS, sure you can! Thanks for your kind words I know you will do a great job on the blocks!
