    I'm amazed at how the different fabric choices turned out. All are beautiful! I'm just getting started on mine.

    Goodness no, as I had said, there is absolutely no reason NOT to use a different border. I like the more subtle one you have laid down, it doesn't detract from the star center.

    whitepine what wonderful butterfly fabric and being side by side

    it looks to me like the butterflys fly from the dark to the light

    and back.....really great illusion

    There's some beautiful blocks coming together. It'll be interesting to see which ones stay as wall hangings or table toppers? and which ones grow up into full sized quilts ...

    Isn't it fun to see how different all the blocks look with all the different fabrics, colours, values, and so on. A great way to get a look at other possibilities, without doing all the work.

    Here's my two ... and because I just can never do something twice the same ... I spun the 2nd star in the opposite direction!
