isn't it just amazing how different the same pattern can be in all these wonderful fabrics. i love quilting and that is why. any two done by different people will each have its own personality. good job everyone.

My Mystery is solved~ Well the one that happened right here!

I have two beautiful big Orange brats who live here. Bella the biggest of the two loves to help me sew. well bless her furry head she was hiding under the bed acting all guilty, she had a slobbery chewed up piece of turquoise fabric! I guess she thought she needed more than the mystery quilt did.! She has never messed with fabric before and I hope it does not become an issue, I would hate to have to put a door on my sewing room and make it Not cats allowed!

The Cats are Maine Coons and Bella weighs about 22 lbs, her brother, Stewie is about 16 pounds, he likes to hang out on the enclosed porch and watch the world go by, not to interested in sewing. I asked the vet if it would hurt her and he said mostly no unless she eats more fabric than food. She is just interested in it because I am. it was more than likely dangling from the table and she got to playing with it.

I will be a lot more careful now. good thing I have two weeks to find some matching fabric, or I will take it off and go black.

Judy, does it matter if my part 2 ended up a little larger than the 10 1/2? Will part 3 still work ok or should I trim it down?

Coopah, love those purples.
Judy, you asked what we had expected to do on this step. I had no idea and hadn't done any guessing.
Thanks Whitepine! The strip that looks gray is really a sage green with yellow and purple mum-like flowers. I also agree that I had no idea what was coming next !

Thanks, also, Judy, for keeping up with all the picture posts.

All the blocks look great! We should all be proud of ourselves. Thanks, Judy, I never saw step 3 coming and I'm really happy with it. So happy, it may find itself in another quilt in the not too distant future. I think I've talked myself into a Halloween version - about 200 different fabrics to choose from and will complement the 6 other Halloween quilts I have done.
