I've been lurking and watching the progress of this mystery block and love all the beautiful variations. I love the star and it inspired me to use up some of my scraps. Here is the start of a quilt using the mystery block.

cowpie2..........your blocks are turning out really great. I love to see so many of them together, it really lets us see how they will look in a quilt top. I also love your scrappy look. Nice work!! What an honor to get first prize for the most blocks!!
