I LOVE this show. I watch the reruns every day. Sit down at 3 and the last one is over at 6 pm. I love them all. Especially the earlier shows. The ones before the "New Beginning" shows. But I do like those too. i don't have any special one as they all have very good morals to their stories.....what a delight. I'm with you. I'm obsessed too.

Loved the book and have been reading them to my young son. It's good for him to know about a time where a couple pieces of candy for Christmas was like hitting the motherlode.

I am reading the books out loud to my children. We have the videos and the children have watched them over and over.

I don't think it's been on TV over here for about 20 years, so really can't remember individual episodes.

Then you should come to this area to see the house that Laura wrote all the books . She, Almonzo and Rose are buried about 2 miles from here. She was very active in the community here until her death in the 50's (sure was a TINY thing!)

I enjoyed the show but loved the books. Read them over and over when I was young. My husband and I went to Laura's home with Almanzo in Missouri about 15 years ago and it had some of her original clothing. I was surprised at how petite she was.
