Qmemaw: Do you have access to a pool? That is what my doctor and occupational therapist suggests when I have a Rheumatoid Arthritis flare up. Lots of bang for your effort doing water exercises.

Okay, I got under that old zero again. I've been up and down around the same zero for months. Will have to just wait and seen if I can get stay past it now. Glad it went down instead of up though for sure. :)

Thanks, I'm trying to drink more this week, think that will help also. You guys are really sticking with it, and cheering everyone on. Hope you had a nice 4th today. Our noise is still going on and our dog is laying on my foot. She doesn't like the noise at all.

I never thought about it until I read your post, but I am 3lbs from getting under a zero!! I am going to try for the same goal. Thanks Pats8e8 for giving some motivation for reaching a goal in sight :D :D I think sometimes we set our goals high (10 or 20 lbs) and forget there are little goals that can encourage us and keep us motivated too!
quilting memaw, slow and steady is a great way to lose weight and keep it off. Be encouraged because you can do it!
Has anyone heard from carolevidek? We hope you are having fun on your vacation and will be soon joining us again :D

For everyone who has dropped off please let us encourage you to get back on. We miss you gals :-D

I didn't go to my ww meeting last night, even tho I am doing good. I use the monthly pass and it expired on Sat. I didn't get my new one in the mail and it says they renew automatically. I wasn't sure if I could go without it and I didn't want to pay full price.
Along with my 40 min walks I have been riding the bike down the road for about a mile and back. It's not too hard of a ride and I figured a little something different will boost my metabolism. I must confess I HATE journaling, so I haven't been faithful at that. I know I am losing since my clothes are getting looser. Just when I think I am doing good I look in the mirror and think I still have a long ways to go!! Have a good day everyone and weekend! :D

Lneal: I think you can go to the meetings anyway. They should know there at you have the payment deducted each month, it should show up in their computer. But it is nice to take an evening off every once in a while. You are really getting in a lot of activity aren’t you? Your metabolism must be screaming.

I went to my meeting last night and I lost 1.8 lbs. So I was very happy. I hate journaling too. You must be careful looking in the mirror. Don’t let it be negative. Look for the extra energy you now have, look for the healthy attitude, and look at the inches that are missing. We must give ourselves credit for what we have done and not keep focusing on what still have to do. Keep it up. You are doing great.

Hi Lneal and Laparshall, well I am two pounds under that old zero now, so I'm happy, and going for that 5 on the scale now. I drank a lot this week, (almost sounds like a bad thing, ha). But I pratically set my kitchen timer for each hour to go drink a cup of tea or an iced tea. I don't do water -- unless it's flavored with tea. :) Anyway, think that helped a lot, will try to keep that up now. Sure looking forward to this downward motion! You are doing great, and keeping us all in line. Thanks.
