    Default **reminder: Hsn sewing day***

I rarely watch HSN but had read about the debut of the new "Featherweight" on January 26th. Just happened to scroll thru channels and HSN caught my attention and I remembered!! LOL I didn't tune in a midnight so haven't seen the **FW**. Did anyone stay up to catch it or has anyone seen it demonstrated yet?

It is beautiful but think I am going to pass (it is featured on their home page www.hsn.com). They showed a Martelli mat and ruler that I really liked and just had to buy. It was pretty expensive but the demostration on it was awesome so I had to purchase it.

It's nice and shiny, but now 'our' featherweight! No thanks.

I happened to catch it at lunch today but only because I wanted to see The Knook (knitting and crochet combined) demonstration. Not sure how I feel about the new Singer but it sure did come with a ton of extras. I did like the idea of The Knook as I only crochet but like the looks of knitting. Wondering what the difference is between knooking and Tunisian Crochet? And wondering why they called it a Knook? That could be confusing!

Last spring i bought my Futura on HSN ...had been looking at it for at least a year drooling... before i finished all my flex pays they had the new model ... now i want it. if i had 2 i could keep one set up as embroidery all the time.. i do have an older brother embroidery but it just can't even be compared to the futura and i have a cheap Singer and brother to use for regular sewing while my futura is in embroidery mode BUT 2 futura's...... ahhhhhhh what a dream

Saw it - and had some interesting things I would love to have - I stayed strong and didn't buy anything!

Just remember this is not your mother's FW. This is not the same singer company either. I've had a really bad experience with them over my Futura. They were rude and condescending. Make sure you keep all your papers and your shipping cartons. Good luck to you all, but they will not be receiving any of my money
