Looks almost like our house on Sat. Some of it melted.

Snow looks so pretty. My sister who lives in OH says it would be perfect if it snowed everywhere BUT on the roads. I love the way the trees are full of snow. Last time I saw snow was 2 years ago on a visit to OH. I really think it is beautiful when it first has fallen and there are no signs of humans on it. Miss looking at it but do not miss shoveling it or scraping the windshields.

How beautiful! Love looking at the snow. It doesn't keep me trapped in our home either. I have no problem driving in it either. My younger daughter and I were on the way home from a store last year (one of her first trips out after her spinal fusion surgery last year) and the scenery was so amazing that we took a bazillion pictures! It took us 45 minutes to drive what normally would've taken 10. A few people thought we were stranded and stopped to help, but moved on quickly once they saw us both with cameras in hand!

Power is BACK on, and much of the snow is melted, although it turns to slush & then freezes overnight. I did get my son's DP9 started, and got a lot of handquilting done, too. Guess things are starting to get back to normal. Seems like a dream. :)

My mother and family are in south central PA and got some but not like you did.
Glad I live in southern Virginia - I don't miss snow at all!
