thanks to those of you who have shared info on patterns! these dresses were made with a commercial pattern for the bodice and I added the skirt. joan hinds does really fun clothes and gives full size patterns. I have a couple of her books that I found on barnes and noble's market, now i'm going to look at liberty jane. thanks, pegeth!
Emma, give in and get a doll already! wal mart has some for $19, and newer ones for 27.

I m known for showing very little to no control, myself! I bought a doll at Tarjay. got so frustrated and angry at the other store, I walked away from a hugely filled cart. long story! Have given LULU an "alice" doll, so need to make an Alice in wonderland dress for girl, and doll. Such a hardship! oooo, before I forget, new doll came with her own baby doll! SCORE !!! should I make clothes for it, too??? (laughing all the way to my stash!)
