A friend bought the panels with the Japanese Chins on them and asked me if I could do something with them. She wasn't up for pillows or a wall hanging so I decided bags. This is what I came up with.It is partly a commercial pattern and partly my own design.

Its my granddaughter Camdelyn Dawn Rose. I am so proud of her. Always have been but she keeps doing cool things. There is an article explaining what she was doing if you scroll down. :-)

Well it was named after her. Or maybe that's another one. lol But she has always loved reptiles. She is going to be a herpetologist ... I am glad she is going into a slightly unusual career for a girl.

Congratulations to your Cami for pursuing her dream. I am partial to indigo and black snakes 'cause they're the "good" ones that keep down the rodent and "bad" snake populations, but I wouldn't want one for a pet!
And your Japanese Chin bags are lovely. What a great use for those panels!

I was terrified of snakes for the longest time. I bought Cami the snake she talked about having. Got over the fear. Charlie was a Gopher snake. I even fed him. I do have respect for them though. I would never pick up one in the wild . Or have a huge one for a pet.
