More warm temps today and the snow is now less than half what it was. It's not as pretty.

I feel for ya. In the past 2 weeks, it seems like we have had snow, snow & more snow. In the first 3 days of our March Break, we got hit with 2 1/2 feet of that gorgeous stuff (it's only gorgeous, if you are not the one shovelling)!!! Last year, at this time we were golfing & this year, well maybe not. We will be lucky if we are golfing within the next month. We have at least 5 feet in our front yard & more than that in our back yard. The other concern is, if it starts to melt too fast, there is the risk of flooding & we do not want that. We are in Northeastern Ontario & about the same northern direction as Boyne, Michigan (where we go golfing sometimes).

We've had to have the grass mowed twice so far here in Shreveport/Bossier City in northwestern Louisiana and it's long again. I love looking at snow but not driving in it. We only got a few flakes earlier this year but they melted before they hit the ground.

Pat, I live in the SW corner of MN, and many of the storms missed us as well. Hopefully we'll get the spring rains our farmers need. I was looking forward to hearing thundershowers after midnight last eve, but that system split, too, and went north and south of us!
