Yikes! Minus 29 degrees? I'll take the snow here in Buffalo over that any day. Excellent reason to stay indoors and make lots and lots of snuggly, warm quilts.

Somewhat warmer here. Was raised in your area, so remember how cold it can get. Raised around Cushing area. Have a sister that lives in Grantsburg and another in Pine City. Mom lives between Grantsburg and Cushing. Glad to welcome you here. I live in Kansas now.

I think our high was -1 on Friday! Warmer than the -29 we had in the am. Today(Saturday) felt balmy +1, with sunny skies.....It was warm enough for my quilting friend and I to check out 2 quilt shops in Elk River.

Hope you haven't frozen. It was sunny in Oregon for the 1st time in quite a few days. All we have is rain, and more rain. My Dad was born in Grantsburg.

I don't envy you and yours with weather like that. Yes it is much nicer where I live, but we have had some cold, just no moisture this past week and due for more. But 18 in the mornings, not below. It was 32 until about 11:00 this morning then the sun was shinning for the rest of the day. You just needed a long sleeves and a light weight jacket. Please stay warm, hope it warms up there real soon. Looks like everyone is having a horrible winter this year, all the snow and flooding.

How does 34 degrees Celsius inside the house suit you?(That's 93.2 Farenheit). It's a little warmer outside.
