Congratulations and you deserve a half bottle, even a regular one!

Yes-you got me!! Happy Anniversary to you and hubby. My husband and I had our 50th anniversary last June and with the lockdown it was not a big celebration. We didn't even have an ounce of wine to celebrate the big day. My daughter and granddaughters made signs and put them in our yard which was so nice. We went down to Phoenix and hubby took me to a quilt store that I like. Fun for me and then we came home grabbed a pizza and brought it home to enjoy. That was out big outing.

My DH does not travel. I told him the year before our 50th, I wanted to go somewhere by car, train, or plane. Just somewhere. Of course we didn’t go anywhere. On the day of our 50th, I was feeling sorry for myself and somewhat angry at him. We got a phone call from our son. He was in the emergency room at one of our hospitals with blood clots in his lungs. I no longer cared about a trip. His doctors never found a reason for the clots. He made a full recovery. I’m happy.

You got me too. Now go and get at least 2 small bottles of champagne and continue the celebration. Congratulations! A wonderful accomplish of love I am sure.
