I just checked 8 accounts and none of the deposit slips have a routing # just the account #.

Made same error today when I used a bank deposit slip instead of a deposit slip from the back of my checkbook. I copied the routing # from one of my checks, not the routing # on the deposit slips in my checkbook. Happy to say cashier looked up my account and made the change for me. May in Jersey
