Adult male gifts
Need suggestions for unique gifts for adult men. They're not into hunting, fishing, hiking, running. See my dilemma? I can fall back on food gifts although it's a little bit hard to mail a pineapple upside down cake to Florida! Three of them are absorbed with computers. One loves the outdoors and playing the guitar and singing and one is a family man and coaches his sons football team and works with another son in basketball. Too many irons in the fire to do quilts this year but do have time for less time consuming projects. Can do painting, work with wood if simple pieces, sewn projects, etc. Really looking for something unique. Is there anything new out there?

I'm stumped too. My son is 26, and I'm getting him a super sonic toothbrush. We saw it about 5 yrs ago, and i hope it still exists. I was $200 then, so maybe came down in price. I got my husband for his birthday. a hamburger flipper with a built in flashlight. I found it on the net. About 4 yrs ago, I got my son a WoodWatch. the whole this is wood. they have many styles and colors. He got me one for m y birthday about 2 yrs ago. I got my husband and son really nice wood shaving sets. The one got my son was much less than the one i got my husband. The Art of Shaving has very nice one, but are super pricey. How about a nice picture frame with tiny footballs on it. My son made some when he was younger. Button Up, or JessieJames.com has all different types of buttons.
i NEED A GOOD GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND. iF YOU COME UP WITH ANY IDEAS, LET ME KNOW. good luck.

I made 2 kinds of jelly and wrapped money around the jar. I've also bought Christmas containers and filled them with party mix or similar snacks, then added a card with money. Money always fits and guys are so difficult so I understand the dilemma. This year I might make those fabric holders for warming up bowls of food in the microwave?

male gifts
We have started this year razor in the mail year from each male gets the razor package sent for 1 year once a month.
They all liked getting it in the mail - and ay that cool, a gift every month.
Next year, I made each male and female PJ's. Fabric being what they liked. Hunting, fishing, sports team, horses, dogs, cars, computer & games played on them, etc. One grandson mind craft. They loved them females and males. They ask when I do that again. Then there is always food or gift cards to go out and eat. Each time I made something it was accepted and liked. We are a family that will enjoy life and have fun with gifts. Husband said tell about the best one - Quilts - they are 1 1/2 yds. to 2 yds. themed to what each likes also. Simple and wash and dry. Husband helps with the tacking embroidery thread (use 4 to 6 threads). I like 6
myself. I have made these a number of years. They have been washed and dried so many times the oldest is 14 yours old my granddaughter. I have made them for family, friends, people with cancer, kids and lots of babies. People say you have invite me to get a blanket.
Simple easy prints people love. Last one was a beach scene fabric. Some I have added borders.

My hubby is into guitars. He appreciated two magazines in particular: Premier Guitar and Acoustic Guitar. He subscribes to both and looks forward to them. You might mail one hard copy as a gift and tell them a subscription is coming. Or a gift card to a music store near him that he enjoys. I'd send a pack of D'Adario strings and write something corny such as "I know you actually do like gifts with strings attached!" Or a pillow case with a guitar motif.

Just remembered husband & I have a hamper in the den full of blankets I made. Each grandchild has one here and at home. We sit or lay in den with our blankets a fire and cozy. We turn the heat down and enjoy our blankets and fire.

My DH doesn't do the hunting and fishing stuff - he loves music and movies - but that stuff is hard to buy when you don't know what they really want and need. My Great Aunt always sent us a pineapple pound cake from Harry & Davids. He loved it. He actually looked forward to it every year. He also loved it when my friend would bring him a plate of his favorite cookies. I found out my BIL loved it when I would send a 2 pound box of Sees Chocolates at Christmas, when my sister told me one year they were not eating those types of sweets anymore, he told me not to listen to her, he loved getting the Sees. My mother quit baking about the same time I left home (I was 19), and so one of her lady friends would make send him a plate of cookies every time she made cookies.
So don't underestimate the gift of food, they may really appreciate it.

My husbnd enjoys the throws that I make or him. He appreciates wildlife of any kind and while he does not hunt...he loves theme quilts. Men are visual. Make a theme throw using panels. Keep it simple.

My daughter and I are putting together a book on the computer of pictures of photographs my son has taken. A remembrance of these times for him to look back on. Hope that helps. Daughter and granddaughter made me a book of my quilts and I just love it....
