I have to laugh...can't help it, but the last thing playing on the radio when I shut off my car sticks in my head all day. I still remember 8 hours of singing/humming "Hey are you a New Freedom lady??"" Sheer torture!!

I also liked Coke's "I'd Like to Teach The World To Sing".

I really am enjoying this thread. Thanks to the person who started it!

Thanks for the memories. Loved them then, love them now.

actually I was thinking of jingles, not just slogans - the kind of thing you can amaze your GK's with.

Here is another one, not advertising but I heard it on the radio and can still repeat it perfectly 40 years later.

    One hen

    Two ducks

    Three squawking geese

    Four limerick oysters

    Five corpulent porpoises

Six pair of Don Alverzo's tweezers

Seven thousand Macedonians in full battle array

Eight brass monkeys from the ancient sacred crypts of Egypt

Nine apathetic, sympathetic, diabetic, old men on roller skates with a marked propensity towards procrastination and sloth

Ten lyrical, spherical diabolical denizens of the deep who hall stall around the corner of the quo of the quay of the quivery, all at the very same time.

Now, who can sing the entire "See the USA in your Chevrolet"? as sung by Dinah SHore in 1952?
