Last week caught myself singing to my grandkids:

"Buckle Up for safety, Buckle Up.
Buckle Up for safetuy, Always Buckle Up.
Show the world we care by the belt you wear,
Buckle Up for safety, Buckle Up".

Then I remembered another one, "If you love your kids, Belt them." Both before seat belt laws.

Barry Manilow wrote many memorable jingles prior to his making money as a performer, including the State Farm one mentioned previously. See if available on utube. LOTS of great ones.

My brother and his wife named their daughter Elizabeth but call her Libby. It was the same time as the commercials that said "when it says Libby's Libby's Libby's on the label label label, you will like it like it like it one your table table table.....

Little brother has no sense of humor...

    how about

    Look for the union label
when you are buying that coat, dress or blouse.

    Remember somewhere our union's sewing,
our wages going to feed the kids, and run the house.

We work hard, but who's complaining?
Thanks to the I.L.G. we're paying our way!

So always look for the union label,
it says we're able to make it in the U.S.A.!

Bet no ones singing that any more.... makes you wanna cry...

Barry Manilow used to do a medley of all the jingles he wrote. Love his "Stuck on Band-Aid because Band's stuck on you!"

Very old commercial for Ipana toothpaste.
Done by a 2 toothed beaver (Bucky).
In a flat nasally voice while he
moved the brush up & down.

    Brush-a, Brush-a , Brush-a
    with the new Ipana.
