HOw cute! So sad that you lost three, though.

I have never had a mama cat that ate any of her babies, but we used to raise rabbits, and if a herbivore like a rabbit will eat its babies, I have no problem believing a cat would. I was rather traumatized when I was twelve by finding only one head left of what used to be a three-bunny litter.

ewwww, i would have flipped out at 12 over that, and i grew up on a farm lol i was grossed out by the chickens eating chicken guts when we were cleaning 1 for chicken n dumplins, but they eat ANYTHING lol

Oh yuck!!! I've had and been around animals all my life and I didn't know about that :shock: How disgusting!!!

Can we please change the tone of the thread to seeing the cute babies :roll: ....I'd much rather discuss them!! :lol: :D :D

Cute kittens. We once had a pregnant momma kitty. 6 kittens. All lived and then when they were old enough, they started climbing up the sheets and blankets to get on the bed in the middle of the night. Still cute but not when you have to be up at 4 am to get to work. I hope you find good homes for all the kittens.

wow i can understand why she's not happy look at that belly and then to have 8 with out the help of a doctor. The poor thing is now POOPED.

Oh so cute! I love kittens and puppies but my husband and I have decided we don't want animals so we can come and go as we please now that we are retired. Maybe when the day comes when we don't drive anymore we'll get some kind of pet--especially a rescued animal.
