My prayers have been sent out to those whose lives are in danger.

I just read that some of the native villages can't be reached to be evacuated and with the amount of sea ice down they are expecting huge waves. Hopefully folks in those villages can move themselves to higher ground. One report described this as a cross between a hurricane and a blizzard. I hope and pray they are wrong.

I keep hoping someone from Alaska will post and say how it's going for them.

Later, we may need to send care packages of fabric, thread and batting.

Prayers headed that way. I know what it's like, when we had those hurricane winds in 2007. Power out for 10 days, no way to get gas for generator. I still thank God for all the people who were out there in the storm for all their help.

I heard that last night. I immediately thought about all the fishing vessels that are out right now and the remote villages. Hunker down and be safe. Let us know how you are.
