All time favorite movies
#1
My husband and I were talking about movies at supper tonight. We watched "Men who stare at goats"last night. It was his idea after seeing the previews. I told him it had been poorly rated but got it anyway. It had some funny scenes, was mostly tongue in cheek ,he feel asleep about two thirds of the way through it...I don't recommend it!
Which brings me to ask all of you what your all time favorites were and why. For me the two that stand out are Titanic and Close Encounters...both were well done movies, good story lines and amazing visual effects
what was yours and why?

Fried Green Tomatoes, because I love the role Cathy Bates plays of a woman entering menopause and Second Hand Lions because it's just a great story. Oh and the Patsy Cline movie, she died way too young and had a beautiful voice, I have her greatest hits album.

James Bond Series. I have watched them all and keep the on my DVR so I can watch as often as I want. Will watch them when they come on TV. My Bonds are in this order Always first Conney, then Craig, Bronsan, Dalton, Lazenby (only did one movie) then Moore. I really don't have a favorite, but I do seem to rewatch Diamonds are Forever more often when there is nothing else on.
