Right around this time of year, we would all try to go home or be with friends. Someone told me the other day, the reason they pass on so close to Christmas is, He is callling them home to heaven. As long as I know where they are, I know one day I will be there to.

Don't ever be sorry for feeling love and expressing it. That is what this board means to me, family and love. Thank you for sharing and feel free to share whenever you like. Sounds like an awesome mom to me. Bless her heart, she sure did PIF! Hugs.

What a blessing that you could be a special part of her life! You have so many precious memories of her to cherish. How wonderful that even though she has left, you still find her everywhere...even on an internet board!!

Well, look around you all the time and you will find someone you can help, and then call IT Pay It Forward in Sandy's memory.
She sounds like she was a good, decent, kind and loving human being and long may her memory live.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. She was a very special part of your life and will live on in your heart and your memories. Each time you hear of someone else doing a good deed, it will remind you of her and over time, this will hopefully ease your pain. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Just for those who don't know; PIF means Pay It Forward. This is something many of us try to do here on the board when we can. It's just a way of passing on a good deed that someone else has done for us at some time or another, or of sharing with others some good fortune that has befallen us. Here on the Quilting Board, it most often takes the form of giving someone something that you may not want or need any longer. Or perhaps just something that you have a lot of and want to share. Or, as riversong just did, a lovely topper she made and she gave it away as a pay it forward. There are many reasons one might choose to do a PIF, and many ways to do them. You can do a search of the board topics at the top of any page by clicking on search and typing in pay it forward. Then you can see some of the fun and creative ways it has been done. Hugs and smilessssss..
