    Default Altering Drapery Panels Today

I bought four 95 inch drapery panels in a menswear tweed-like material for my husband's home office. After hanging them we found that the panels were cut at an angle and then hemmed like that. One panel was 94 inches one one side, 97 inches on the other. All four panels have a variation of this problem. I bought them online and since I know a little about measuring and sewing, I just decided to fix the problems. You'd think there would be a little more quality control in these things.

No, there doesn't seem any quality control now days, same for proof reading. They are both gone. I have sheer curtains over mini blinds and I just buy the number of panels I need and remake the hems the size I want.
