Alzheimers respite care grants (&quilts)

I found out about this for a neighbor who is taking care of his wife who has Alzheimers.

Basically it is a grant for the caregiver to pay someone to take care of the patient so the caregiver can have some time off. You have to apply through the local organization.

Taking care of yourself is not being heartless or self-centred. Taking care of yourself, allows you to do a better job of caring for your loved one for a longer time.
