Why would you want a house in Vermont?
I come from NH and the winter is 9 months long up there! Although, it is beautiful countryside all year round !
Do you love snow and winter?
If you do, I hope you get it!

I miss Carol Duval too, but she is in her late 70s/early 80s, so I think she has given up doing the TV shows.
CAROL DUVAL didn't give up HGTV...THEY removed her because the network wanted the younger crowd !!
That was a sad thing as her watchers were all age groups !!
I have been reading that the national pollsters are saying that the TV audiences are loosing numbers/viewers, seriously, people are saying "too many commercials" or "the shows are idiotic" "the news is not informative - and "news segments are too brief".
    It is their own fault!

My computer is much more informative!

I used to watch it a lot more, until they took the quilting and craft shows away. Now, I watch the antiques shows. It seems that they have a lot of real estate shows, and I'm just not interested in those right now.

I don't have a tv...had to choose tv or computer. I am not looking for a home but did like House Hunters just to see the mansions people turn down because it doesn't have crown molding! Or the master bedroom was too small (as big as my house) LOL! When I had tv I'm like all of you...crafts and sewing shows. I did love Holmes because he seems like a GOOD person and helps people out of such messes. I also have a crush on him!

I used to watch all the home design shows when we were buying this house. I wish they would bring back the craft and sewing shows again too. I really liked Simply Quilts but I don't think Alex Anderson wanted to do it anymore and I not fond of the thing she is doing now. I do watch Househunters late at night and CasH & Cari. I can't stand ask Genevieve. She waves her arms around and giggles way too much for me. We also like to watch the Food Network a lot. No health food there. We really like Guy Fieri and Diners, DriveIns and Dives and a lot of the other cooking shows. Who would have thought these things would have been so entertaining.

I hardly watch it anymore. I think its boring. Used to be my favorite with sewing and craft shows.
